Calling all Animal Advocates
NVPAA was created by a small group of volunteer animal lovers who decided to bring their life skills to bear on the problems facing pets and other animals.
Along with our members and partner organizations we want to see the humane treatment of animals and the long term resolution of the following;
- Rampant Animal Cruelty, Abuse, and Neglect
- Overcrowding in Shelters and Rescues
- Back Yard Breeding
- Pet Owner Rights & Accountability
- Expedited & Safe Return of Lost Pets
- Assistance for Those Who Need it to Keep Their Pets

Our Mission
Our Mission is to Help You Achieve Your Mission!
There are many groups and organizations in Nevada that have been working for years on the problems we aim to tackle. Our mission is not to replace or compete with those groups, but instead to help them achieve their goals.
Our tasks will be to raise money for the groups already doing an outstanding job. Furthermore, we will help those groups to communicate and coordinate with all of the other groups to leverage current resources and to minimize unnecessary duplication of effort.
Our mission is also to bring your mission, successes, obstacles, and needs to the attention of our lawmakers and community stakeholders.

NVPAA will assist individuals and advocacy groups in any way we can, but our goals will be achieved through programs designed to do the following
- Increase the Capacity in Shelters and Rescues
- Speed Up Quality Adoption and Placement of Animals
- Make Animals a Legislative Priority Across Nevada
- Fully Fund Every Animal Advocacy Organization
- Severely Punish Abusers and Illegal Breeders
- Create and Maintain Comprehensive Lost & Found System for Pets
- Create, Fund, and Maintain a Foster and Care Network
